b. Information from Third-Party Platforms

When you connect third-party accounts (such as Facebook/Instagram or Shopify), we may receive:

• Your public profile information (name, profile picture, page name)
• Facebook Page data and Instagram business account data
• Messenger conversation data necessary to operate the AI shopping assistant on your bio page
• Shopify store data including products, orders, and customer information (only data from your own store)
• OAuth access tokens required to maintain your connected integrations

c. Automatically Collected Information

• Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
• Device information
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies
• Analytics data about how you use the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the AskMyBio.ai platform
• Power the AI shopping assistant on your public bio page
• Process transactions and send related information
• Sync your connected store products and order data to your dashboard
• Send you service-related communications (account confirmations, updates, security alerts)
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the Service
• Detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in these circumstances:

• Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (Supabase for database/auth, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for payments, Anthropic for AI features). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with advance notice to you.
• With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit consent.

4. Facebook and Instagram Data

When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we access only the permissions you explicitly grant. We use this data solely to operate the features you have enabled within AskMyBio.ai. We do not use Facebook or Instagram user data to target advertising, build profiles for third parties, or for any purpose beyond providing the Service.

Messenger conversation data is used only to power the AI shopping assistant responding on your behalf. Conversation data is not shared with third parties and is retained only as long as necessary to provide the Service.

You may disconnect your Facebook/Instagram account at any time from your dashboard Settings page, which will revoke our access and delete your stored tokens. You can also remove our app directly from your Facebook account settings at facebook.com/settings → Apps and Websites.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7). Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information via your account settings
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Disconnect any third-party integrations at any time
• Opt out of non-essential communications

To request deletion of your data, email privacy@askmybio.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.

8. Cookies
